Foundation School for Autism - Plano

Student and Teacher in Classroom

Who We Are

We provide the best education possible for young children on the Autism Spectrum, the Foundation School for Autism - Plano is a tuition-free public charter school serving children in grades PreK-1 with a focus on early intervention.
Teacher and Students

Our Program

Our program focuses on the early years because research shows that if children receive early intervention before the age of six, it can change the course of their lives. Instruction is provided in a small learning environment with the resources and staff to provide the intensive programs and support services—speech therapy, occupational therapy, and applied behavior analysis—needed for children with autism.

Welcome

Welcome to Foundation School for Autism - Plano! At Foundation School for Autism, each child receives an individual education plan to develop and improve key areas such as learning readiness, independent work, and academics. We teach important socio-emotive skills to help children navigate tricky social interactions that often cause them difficulty during their school years. Additionally, we provide special training to parents to help them on their child's educational journey.

As you choose Foundation School for Autism - Plano, we look forward to partnering with you in the education of your student.
